Job Description

pubGENIUS is seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to join their global team. This role is ideal for someone with strong product management instincts who can expertly manage client engagements from initial contact through to final delivery.

This is more than just an administrative role; we need a proactive individual who understands digital product development, can critically assess requirements, lead discovery phases, and ensure that shipped products effectively solve client problems.

In this position, you will be responsible for simultaneously managing multiple client projects across various industries and time zones, ensuring that scope, timelines, and budgets remain on track. You will collaborate closely with clients to define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria from the outset. A key part of your role will involve leading the discovery phase for new clients, asking insightful questions to grasp their business needs before development begins.

You will break down complex requirements into manageable iterations for the engineering team, and maintain all project documentation, backlogs, and roadmaps to ensure alignment. The role includes facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and reviews. You will also be responsible for providing clients with regular, clear updates on project status, risks, and decisions, and will contribute to scoping, pricing, and proposal writing for new engagements.

Collaboration with design, engineering, and QA teams is essential to ensure delivered features meet client expectations and user needs. You will monitor project health using relevant KPIs and proactively identify and flag risks. Testing completed features to verify they meet agreed requirements before delivery is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously across different industries and time zones, keeping scope, timelines, and budgets on track.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of project management experience in a digital agency environment.
  • Hands-on experience with the presales process including writing proposals, scoping projects, and running discovery workshops.
  • Strong understanding of how digital products are built and a product management mindset to go with it.
  • Experience managing backlogs, writing user stories, and working within an Agile delivery process.
  • Comfort challenging client requirements and advocating for solutions that solve the actual business problem.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients at the same time without dropping the ball.
  • Background in Web3/DeFi, fintech, healthcare, or e-commerce is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with project and product management tools such as Jira, Notion, Linear, or similar.
  • Must be based in the United States or Canada with the ability to work across US and European time zones.
  • Fluent English at C1 level or above with strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing work.
  • Experience working with distributed international teams across multiple countries and time zones.
